GroveRhythm is a practice timer with built-in break reminders. These terms cover how you may use it and what it does not promise. They are short because the app is simple: no account, no subscription, no server.

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using GroveRhythm (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal and non-commercial purposes, subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute or resell the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

3. No purchases, no advertising

The current version of the app has no in-app purchases and no subscription. It contains no advertising. If that changes in a future version, these terms and the App Store listing will be updated before the change ships, and any subscription would disclose its price, renewal period and cancellation terms in the app before you buy.

4. Health disclaimer

GroveRhythm is a timer and reminder tool for general wellbeing. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

• Hydration targets and break intervals are generic defaults you can change. They are not tailored to you.
• Breathing exercises are not suitable for everyone. Stop immediately if you feel dizzy, faint or unwell.
• Stretching and activity cues are suggestions only. Do not force any movement that causes pain.

Consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing your hydration, breathing or exercise habits, especially if you are pregnant or have a respiratory, cardiovascular, kidney or other medical condition. You use the app at your own risk.

5. Reminders are not guaranteed

Reminders are delivered as local iOS notifications. Whether and when they arrive depends on your device: notification permission, Focus modes, Low Power Mode, Do Not Disturb, and iOS's own scheduling. Do not rely on the app for anything time-critical or safety-critical.

6. Your data is your responsibility

All of your practice history lives on your device and nowhere else. We cannot recover it for you. Deleting the app, resetting the device, or losing the device will remove that data permanently. Keep a device backup if the history matters to you.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the app in any unlawful way, or attempt to interfere with, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

10. Changes to the app and to these terms

We may update, change or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. We may also revise these terms; the “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after a revision means you accept it.
